I had a similar problem with them about 10 years ago. I used to go there regularly and I had gone in for a trim and add layers. My hair was just passed my shoulders. So not much should have been cut. When she ended my hair was to my ears and so short layers I looked like I had a mullet. NEVER went back. EVER!!! I always tell people to stay away from there.
My only comment is that HELLO, its the first time ever at this location its going to be trail and error with parking, police, people and event issues. It takes a while to get the kinks out.
I'm sad about this I worked at Disc Jockey when it was in a closet. It was that small. I helped set up the new store and was so excited to be working there. We had an awesome crew then. Had lots of great memories and even got to meet Ty Herndon while working there. I will miss it and even though I love Hastings (worked there too) Its sad that they will be the only large music store left in Victoria. GOD BYE DISC JOCKEY (Still hard to call it FYE.) :oD
This was shocking. I know Mrs Romano and her daughters. She was a very nice woman and sad to hear such a thing happened to her. My thoughts are with her family.
I wanted to add that from the day we were born we never lived with a relative. My mom had her own place. When my grandfather passed away when i was 5 she was able to buy a house for us. She did it on her own the best she could.
I just wanted to chime in. My mother turned 16 a month before my twin and I were born. By the time she was 22 she had 4. We did struggle but with help from my grandmother and my mother working hard we NEVER had government help. My mother graduated from High School and College. She has multiple degrees. As for the four of us we all have at least 3 degrees and have successful careers. My mom be came a grandmother for the first time a little over a year ago from my youngest sister who was 25 and had been married for 2 years.
Yes she made a mistake when she was younger. I'm proud the she decided to keep all of us and raise us herself. She worked hard to make sure we had all we needed. Not all children of teenage mothers end up that way. I'm proud to say that we broke the stigma that come the teenage mother and children.
