As mentioned, w/o air service how can you have a convention? Meetings, maybe........conventions, not likely.....The Corpus Christi airport does OK, but it's not the greatest. Of course, some people would like to avoid metro areas like Houston.....South Padre! aahhhhhhh...............
"that the redrawn district would have required too much travel time".....She means she may have had to actually work. She hasn't had an independent thought since her election. Todd Hunter ain't my favorite guy, but he would serve the district much better.
As elected officials they raised their pay and insurance, and cut out employee appreciation. I guess they appreciate themselves more than the people doing the work. Its time to rid ourselves of "more for me and less for you politicians".

What does our State Rep have to say about the budget crisis the Texas Legislature put us in with the failed margins tax? Where is Geannie? What does she have to say now? This is very much her mess!!!!!
