Thumbs Down to the Advocate for wanting to charge for a new TV book, $69.68 for two years, subscribers already pay to much for the paper we recieve, which by the way is lousy. I hope no one in Victoria subscribes to this waste of information, by the way look where the money goes, out of State.....not my money.
Alright, now here's how it really happened being I was in the truck that Mr. Licon passed going at a very high rate of speed, I,m sure the driver of the truck that was making a left turn onto Power Street at the time saw only my headlights and had plenty of time to safely turn but all of a sudden a motorcycle flys around me and the result we all know.The truth and nothing but....if he would of only stayed behind me he would not have been in this terrible situation. I hope a lesson is learned from this.
Death is what they deserve, why should we have to pay for them to be in prison till they kick, cheaper to inject them and get it over with ....they don't deserve to live.
They need to re-route it to the trash pile, we need more important things like getting our children to school safely, oh yea let's vote out every one of the council members,they don't deserve to spend our money.
Hagan should run for Mayor......Need to get rid of Halepeska cause he ain't nothin but a good old boy......we got rid of Mr. Moo Moo, now it's time to rid of Halepeska....please some one run against him next time and let's get rid of these spenders, keep the City the way it is , they say we need more money for our needs, bull....for their needs, and by the way...who wants our downtown to look like Paducah....I want it to look like Victoria, be proud of the City and take care of what you got and stop wanting to be a Wannabe City.
Put more cops all along Navarro and let them write tickets all day long , every single day of the year......they can't solve any crimes so let them do what they do best.....write tickets. I guarantee we would not have to raise taxes for stupid things like picking up brush, the problem with City Council is they have gotten to big for their britches....they haul the stuff off and process it for compost,sell the compost to who ever goes now and picks it up for free,why should we be charged for pick up of a product they give away.....again no sense. I bet they'll tax us next for the air we breathe , the best thing to do is leave the city and move out to the country where you can burn your stuff, another thing that gets my goat is if you live out in the country your place can look like a junkyard and no one tells you anything,try that in the City, no way Jose....hell we pay enough da_n taxes as is ...leave us alone and stop making up crap to add more misery to the poor taxpayer.
Like I said before, Crash and Burn is what the Cowgirls will do, they're gonna lose the next three games and watch the playoffs sitting on their saddles
I wanna know who "the third party" is and if they have any real estate ties, it's funny if you've been in this town long enough to know who the shakers are and how they manipulate certain members of the council. I wonder who is out there trying to buy land because they heard an inside secret,take the property where the new High Schools are being built, how long did those owners own that property. Old saying "You rub my back I'll rub yours" still seems to be around.
