"The more that I learn about the Board of Directors in this town, the more that I am concerned for the mental health and economic growth of Victoria. Many Board of Directors have forgotten what their purpose is while serving on the board. Supporting the staff of growing organizations should be the number one priority of Board of Directors. Checking their egos at the door and appreciating loyal employees would help our town to develop into a community we could all be proud to claim as our own."

"I think you missed the point of this whole thread. Try lightening up a little, life is so short we need to laugh as much as we can."

"I appreciate what you have to say and value your opinion. However, I am trying to be logical here, too and I think that marshmallows have no place in the school curriculum. If the kid was sneaking and eating them, then no wonder he didn't want to admit to choking on one. The teachers have to be aware of everything and everything they plan has an outcome, good and bad. The principal has to feel free to say no to something that isn't age appropriate. And you're right, the kid could've had diabetes and sweets could trigger a reaction. Lots of things could've happened. I just don't want my kids eating sweets at school unless I give my permission or I am there for a class party. And no hard candy at all."
