A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in news reporting and writing major. I have worked in various types of mediums of journalism from newspaper to broadcast.

My first internship landed me at Telemundo Dallas/Fort Worth where I worked on the morning newscast.

My most notable articles have been on education and immigration which were published at Extra News a bilingual weekly of Chicago.

One of my pieces I helped do extensive research was for The Chicago Reporter which was nominated for an IRE award. The article was entitled "A Disservice".

Prior to coming to Victoria I worked as a freelance reporter for Al Dia in Dallas/Fort Worth on the weekends.
