Keep in mind that Turkeyfest is a non-profit organization, and the $5 entry fee (good for all day) is collected to fund scholarships for Cuero high school students and to donate to local non-profit charitable organizations. Also, Turkeyfest was created as a venue for local non-profits (Lion's Club, 4-H, etc) to host vendor booth as their yearly major fundraising opportunity. Cuero City Park is a safe, family friendly, and convinient place to host such an event.
