This is all so sad! I love her restaurant! One of the top 5 for mexican food in San Antonio. If you are ever in S.A. make sure to you go there to eat!
I'm hispanic and I have noticed that when I'm in Victoria hispanics are the WORST drivers!!!! I'm dead serious. I moved to a big city a few yrs back so I'm used to driving in crazy traffic and I know how to be safe and give people room, but over there in Victoria traffic is horrible by the mall, and I notice the people who are switching lanes and tailing people are hispanic...because I make a point to look at them when I pass them up. There are a few female drivers who are bad, but thats mostly because their kids are standing up in the back seat or not behaving.
***I do agree a big majority of bad drivers in Victoria are hispanic***
agree with Navywife and jcantu. it is not the parents fault that kids skip school. When I was in high school we walked off campus ALL THE TIME! It was so easy and still is from what I've heard. All it took was a couple of us being friends with the security guards, and they would wave bye when we drove off. And trust me there were more kids skipping school than the teachers and principals even knew about. I don't know how it is now...but when I was there students were 'working' in the Asst. Principals office and in the main office...and when teachers took roll they would pencil in by your name that you were absent and the students that picked up roll would erase where your teacher marked your name. Back then it was so easy to skip. I regret doing it now, and we wouldn't go and get ourselves into trouble, we mostly just went out to eat and went home. I don't agree with my actions now, it was pretty stupid of me, and I knew better. But if I would've got in trouble for it,I would hope that my parents wouldn't be punished...especially since my Mom dropped me off at school every single morning and worked at another school less than a block away. It would be better if they punished the student, by maybe making the days up on a Saturday or doing community service or even helping janitors clean.

This is such a nice place. My niece had her dance recital there 2 yrs in a row. The only thing I ask is... Please turn on the air conditioner when it is jam packed in there. The amount of people had nothing to do with the heat in there because we were all seated....they just didn't want to turn it on...both times!

Victoria Advocate- you should really get your facts straight. It looks like you copy/pasted bits and pieces about this from a better source of news.
