I agree w/you! So many kids do get mixed up with the wrong crowd. And everyone needs to watch they say! Make sure you are not passing judgement.

I think this blog is just ridiculous! First of all, it was probably a kid that stoled it. Therefore, he or she will not be reading your blog anyway! 2nd, the fact someone stoled the bike has nothing do with this day & time! Kids have been stealing others bikes for years! Unfortunately, I think they get some kind of thrill out of it. And last, why was it sitting out on your porch? Hello, you don't live in a great neighbor. Why didn't you teach your daughter to put the bike up in a safe place? I have a 10 year old daughter too, and I teach her responsibility. And yes, they will make mistakes and get forgetful. But when something like this happens, don't teach her to whine and blame others like you are, teach her to just focus on the lesson that came out of it and the positive side to the situation.
