You are not kidding - retail businesses, internet sites, etc. - all keep track of your activity. Social media sites track your activities. If your cell phone is on - the phone company can find you. And keep your call and messaging activity on file up to 12 months. Not all of this is bad - just depends on how it is used.
Fact is our private lives become less private everyday.

They have enough debates to be in reruns for years!
I don't agree with alot of the Presidents statements and actions, but I don't agree with all the statements of the four republican candidates. I do agree - from what I can tell the President is pushing very tough sactions on Iran. If he wasn't they would not be so loud in their response to the sactions. Seems three of the republican candidates just want to bomb Iran or at least have someone do it.

The hardest thing the republicans are having to explain away is the increase in jobs all though slow - they are increasing and seems my money in my 401K is recovering also.

Can't wait until the smoke settles and the republican candidate and the President go head to head - will be an interesting election.

BorgLord - we agree on something - we do need to free ourselves of religion.

My God does not want or tolerate any of the things you point out - I will answer for each and everyone of those someday if I choose to practice bigotry, believing in imagination friends (my God is very real to me), child abuse, superstition. etc. My God doesn't condone any of those - maybe religion does, but not my God.

I have given this a lot of thought - reading all the comments by people on both sides. I tend to always try to keep things to simple - but -
My medical insurance pays for both brain surgery and birth control pills - I don't plan to use either. Thankfully that is my choice - now if the government says that I HAVE TO get brain surgery and use birth control - then they are very wrong.
I really feel there are a lot more important things that need to be discussed and resolved - this is a diversion - and it is working wonderfully isn't it?

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
    1 Corinthians 1:18

Kyle - I pray for you also.

Another caveat – what if I as a small business owner have religious beliefs that financing birth control, etc. is not right – I don’t want to do it. I receive no government support – but now I am mandated to have my health insurance that I provide my employees pay for something which I strongly oppose.

So does the government now have the right to force me to go against my religious belief? Isn’t the government now dictating what my belief will be?
