Rebecca...{patt'n u on the back} EXCELLENT parenting. I COMPLETLELY agree with whats written and also allow my kids to "back-talk" ME!
If I would have "back talked" my Mother or Father in my house I would have gotten "popped" in the mouth.
I decided - real quick- after the delivery of my first child to change that rule! And, I've always allowed him to "express" his opinion in a "respectful"- agree to dis-agree - harmless way... He has grown into a great young man and I am proud of who he is. More importantly, he RESPECTS me!
BTW: The Warriors ought to get a huge shield for their mascot and have him hold the shield in mid-air at the end of the tunnel before every game. Make it a "tradition" that every "Warrior" taking the football field on Friday night--- "TOUCH THE SHIELD" in honor of: PRIDE, PROTECTION, and POWER"
"TOUCH the shield W.H.S." lol- it holds the "POWER TO WIN AGAIN!"
And, don't be buying a cheap shield- I'm talking a true- honorary warrior shield. Fifty years from now= it will be the PRIDE of W.H.S.
Great news Victoria! People are getting involved in the two new high schools...Progress is being made - uniforms being purchased and booster clubs being formed- and to see those mascot {logos} makes it all seem sooooo -real!
Oh wait... U people still b! ch'n on the VA threads bout this n that??? STILL not happy??? lol...(I wouldn't expect any thing less)
FOR: Jay Lester and (the crew) ... "YOU-did a GREAT job on the design of the new band uniform and I think they look Awesome."
