Aside from his dirty sportsmanship, he DOES NOT BELONG because he was taking bets. Folks, pay attention now. If the Black Sox scandal of 1919 should have taught anything, it should have taught that you DO NOT TAKE BETS as a player. Pete Rose is guilty of taking bets as well as moral and historical ignorance.

Nice post. But, no, Pete Rose should NOT be in the Hall of Fame. I've never forgiven him for slugging an Astros catcher during the 1980 Astros-Phillies face-off. Nasty bit of work, he was.
