I have been involved with computers since 1995. I have only had 2 email addresses in that time, both gave my name in full. I believe that to have an opinion and post it publicly then you should be willing to use your real name. If you need an alias such as Billy the Kid, or Joe 6pack then you must have something to hide or you are some type of hater that need to hide behind the veil of anonymousness that protects them from the general public’s ire. I feel l if you say it, post it, or record it you own it and you should be willing to state and defend your opinion live and in person if called to do so. I WOULD. So yes people should be required to use their own name or not be allowed to post or write the Advocate..
Smoke police and now Quarter busters. Give me a break. I don’t play them but I have seen kids who enjoy them. I have seen them in stores and fairs and other fund raising events.Yeah I’m sure if you read the legal definition of the law it would be illegal to play them but we are talking about a quarter here. Of course having Police go undercover to bust a smoker at a bar where nobody gives a hoot if someone is smoking is kind of silly to. But it happens all the time. Three or four cops involved in undercover work to catch smokers While Dewitt County can catch a whole family dealing drugs. Where are our priorities? Does the police dept. really like being laughed at? What’s next” new speak” . 1984 got here a little late.
Have eaten there a couple of times and I also was not impressed with the food. I also know they have severe staff problems. I had a relative work there and quit because of the manager and also a good friend of mine who worked as bartender there quit because he was so overworked ( he couldn’t get a day off) because of the staff problems. I guess the only ones who will work there are people who have issues themselves and don’t have to worry about getting fired if they upset the customer. I know the manager doesn’t really care what the customer thinks. So like the rest I think I’ll just eat at Ramey’s, Good food and great service.
Everyone knows that it would not be heaven w/out our pets. SO I think our pet will go with us if we make it. Otherwise the poor dang thing will just end up in hell w/the rest of us. Probably be biting us for eternity
Well I'll be spammed, But I do like a little spam an eggs followed at lunch by a BLS or a clubspam and supper I have always liked Spaghetti and spam meatballs., Italian style .
