This is one of the greatest programs a school district can spend money on. There are too many out of control kids. I know, I foster troubled teen boys. The law protects these kids from getting a good old butt spanking, then it has to be ordered by a judge to get them the discipline they need. The school district I live in has an Alternative School which is run like a boot camp by a very strict man, and it does work for most of these kids. I say all school district need a boot camp. Maybe this would keep a few of them out of prison.
So, this so-called good kid just went wrong. Kids now do not have the proper discipline by the parents, and many parents are too busy keeping up with the Jones, or doing drugs themselves to take the time for their kids. I know this too well because I foster troubled teen boys. And, all of the laws protecting them tie parent’s hands. Protecting them that is until they go to prison. OK, I do NOT believe in beating a kid, but when they reach an age where they are disrespectful to everyone, they need to be in a good boot camp for a year or so, and then maybe they will learn respect. People spoil and coddle their kids, then the laws protect them from getting a good old fashion butt spanking, so then when they get a little older they are put in prison. So, if there could be more discipline by the parents, then maybe they would not make it as far as prison.

Murder is a mighty big mistake, an innocent man is dead because of this so called good kid who was just with the wrong crowd. Did this good kid dial 911? Did this good kid try to stop this? Nope, he was in it for the "THRILL OF THE KILL", just like all of the rest. If anyone in my family murdered someone just to do it, then I would be the first to say that they need to pay for it.
Like I said before, they were all there for the "THRILL TO KILL", so none of them should be excused. As far as I am concerned they are all the "shooter", the gun was just in one of their hands, if they had passed the gun around, then one of the other would have been the "shooter". None of them tried to stop it, they are all quilty of the same crime. An innocent man was killed, and the family is suffering. It is a little late to say "they just got mixed up with the wrong crowd".

So, he finally got his felony, DUH! He was just a "little" criminal before, now his is in for big time.
As for the "shooter", they all did it as far as I am concerned, the gun just happened to be in one guy's hand, but if it had been in another guy's hand, then he would have been the "shooter", they were all there, they did not stop it, they were all there for the "THRILL OF THE KILL". They all need to go down for a long time, like life without parole.

They could have passed the gun around, and another one would have been the "shooter". They all need to be charged with capital murder, regardless of their past criminal history. An innocent man is dead, because they wanted a thrill.

For the family, you have my greatest sympathy. This was so senseless. I say FRY THEM ALL! What gives these punks the right to go into anyone's home? So what if they thought it was unoccupied? They still killed an innocent man, and why do people what to say an "old Man'? He was not old, and from the picture they posted of him, he looked very healthily and strong. But, it does not matter his age, he was a human being, and did not deserve to die that way. This is what the world has come to; the young punks think they can take over. And, where the heck are their parents? They just do not care and are allowing these punks to run the streets and do these horrible things. Then the parents of these punks want to cry and beg for mercy for their kids. What about the wonderful family man they killed, did they listen to him beg for mercy? Why don't these kind of punks just use each for target pratice, and not go around killing innocent people? FRY ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!
I am tired of the government controlling us already; this is just another way to control citizens. I believe it is called Communism,and if this continues, then this is what it will be. Definition of Communism: Individual rights are ground to powder and used to build its idol of absolute government control.
Suzy, I am thinking the same thing. A gang of teens doing initiations. Well, I think martial law is the answer; we should be able to protect ourselves and our children in our own home. But, of course, if we shot any of these fools, we would be charged, not them. The justice system is so messed up.
