Thanks, writein. But then again, B.B. King is a great choice for any occasion. He's the KING!

HookEm1 - hey, that's just what I do! :D
Thanks for reading, and thanks for listening!
Thank you, Observer.
Thanks, Mike. I am indeed just a "mouse click" away. See you around on the blogosphere.
The funny thing is, now that the storm is blowing away from us (me) and the sun has come out again (when you learn to let go of something, it's amazing how cleansing an experience it can be), I realize that, although many of us have had our differences, and we will always have different points of view, we have so much more in common than we have different. Does that make sense?
I feel like this is a positive step for us posters/bloggers to "start over" and it has happened at the right time. Just my opinion. I will likely be posting just a few more days here myself, with one final blog in the works, and then that's it. I realize just how much we have learned from one another and how much bonding can occur when we face a common enemy. Isn't that something?
Born2beme, Suzy, Littlebluebook, JackieBrown, so many others that I forget some names now....posters come and go, but what a wonderful experience it has been, at least for me. Thank you, one and all.
Edith Ann - My way of thinking is that the VicAd DID have all the details finalized, but due to the onslaught of public animosity towards this move, they are now backpedaling and trying like mad to salvage any readers they may have left. They are just trying to save face, and are making up the rules as they go now. Which is pragmatic, and I can appreciate that to a certain extent. But once you've seen the emperor without his clothes (and not a pretty sight, mind you) then you never view him in quite the same way again. Agendas may be refined, but never really change if they are self-serving.
It's just too late, at least for me. I am most definitely calling it quits. It is hard to let go, to be truthful, but it would be harder to stay here now. It's time.
Mike, I don't know what to say in response to your kindness. Except, thank you. And, if I or any of the "original bloggers" helped inspire you to blog also, then I am most proud. Glad to have you here, or on Google, or anywhere in cyberspace.
Well said, bobmunoz. Thank YOU for your thought-provoking blogs and taking a stand.
jasonbourne and swww - I will be seeing you soon on the Delphi forums. I am just trying my best to hold judgment here but I suspect what jasonbourne said - that the answers will not be pleasing. I do know that I have had one foot out the door here for a while, and this is the final blow. I will be posting my final blog in a day or two on the VicAd. Many of us are also on Google blogs, and I enjoy those very much. Anyone who has not visited my (or Mike's, Edith Ann's, Pilot's, or Grey-Beard Loon's) can contact me via VicAd and I will give you those web addresses. Thanx everyone for your input here. Looks like an exodus has begun.
Mike - you said it so well that I can only echo your words here. You have been a fixture, and it is the VicAd's loss certainly.
MaryAnn - Joe Patrick Bean - now there was a good man!
Mike, I will see you over on our Google blogs. This is not the end; it is only the beginning of better things to come for you. I will be following right behind; my farewell blog will be posted soon.
Let the exodus begin.
OK, Chris - first you said, "If you don't want to use Facebook, your comments will no longer appear on the article pages. In that sense, this is mandatory."
Then you say, "I should make clear that we will still allow for unverified comments and blogs on our site. We just will no longer promote those. Instead, we will promote people who choose to use their real identities via Facebook for comments and via the process we're establishing for bloggers."
HUH??? Still clear as mud. Or, if I'm just not getting it, please tell me now.
Could you please just answer yes or no or give specifics as applicable to these questions so I can get it straight?
1.) If we do not have a Facebook account, will we still be able to blog on the VicAd website as we have been? Will our blogs be seen online?
2.) If we do not have a Facebook account, will we still be able to post as we have been? Will our posts be seen online?
3.) Do we need to change anything other than getting a Facebook account? In other words, can I remain and will I be seen as SugarMagnolia with the same avatar on the VicAd website if my blogs and posts will be visible? I know you say "Previous Advocate identities will not be featured on our articles." but don't know if you mean the articles online as we are commenting on now, or exactly what "articles" encompasses and what "featured" really means here.
4.) What exactly do you mean by "promote" people who comply with the new VicAd-Facebook policy? Promote how? Where?
5.) Is the look of the VicAd website going to change due to this?
I appreciate your clarifications on this. Because as it stands right now, I can read your comments here but don't see any real answers thus far.
