It does not matter what kind of dog you have, the owners need to be held responsible for any and all actions when they are loose in public, and with that said there is an individual in my neighborhood who lets the the dog out to roam the neighborhood and to crap in everybody's yard except their own, this sounds like a minor inconvenience compared to a dog bite but when you have to deal with it time after time it gets to be more than minor and yes I've called animal control and by the time they get there the dog is back in their yard and they can't do anything even though I have a shoeful of evidence to show them. I have almost gotten to the point to pick up this dogs turds and fling them into the owners open garage...but I have not done that because it not the right thing to do. I have a dog but I keep it in our fenced yard and when we do take a walk he is on a leash
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA....I listen to candidates in all parties and then I vote for the individual, not the party. What this group did in passing this one resolution was not very well thought out, and there are some very responsible and respectable people in this group but now guess what, you are now one of the group that passed this resolution, no matter how you feel about it... remember,for every action there is a reaction, and I can just imagine what could happen......who will I support when I go to the polls?????Guess

There's a new store on Navarro close to detar that also sells ready to drink mixed drinks taped up in a clear plastic bag, now talk about skirting the law...as long a the person ordering is of legal age,they can buy.....you drive up, order your drink from the waitress,they bring it out to you in a sealed clear bag and you drive off and go home......YEA RIGHT, talk about making it easy to drink and drive and how about those in the car under age...graduation time is almost here and I can already see this place making a ki... um, alot of money.....just making it easy to drink and drive and not having to get out of the car.....
They might have good food but they are as slow as molasses
Just my 2 cents........So if CMC has this overweight policy does it also have an intelligence policy? or a handicap policy? a religious policy? how about a sexual preference policy??? How many policies does CMC have on it's hiring requirements? And, is Brown's salary public record? I have heard that he make's a pretty good living......
OK Tophat, I'll take that as an answer, I was was just trying to find out if the JP1 stopped working to run the campaign and if the salary stopped at that point also. I know the work load continues and it is most probably distributed amongst the JP's still in office.
Which brings me to another point....awhile back the commissioners appointed another person JP when the spouse died holding that office, the County Judge and Commissioners didn't want to appoint anyone that was going to run for that office because it would give them an unfair advantage when elections were held, it didn't work out the way they planned when election time came but by doing this did they set a precedent on how they appoint someone to a vacancy? Not trying to start anything it's just another question I had.

Why don't we see the names and faces of all those that were arrested? Is someone afraid that they are going to hurt someone's feelings?
