Texas Artists Cultural Alliance (TACA) is thrilled to have the opportunity to present the first Victoria Independent Film Festival, March 22 – 24, 2012, in downtown Victoria. The three-day event is designed to inspire and champion independent artists, while introducing the community to the passionate work being done in independent cinema.

The event will be be held in the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, and host over 20 films in just 3 days. Documentaries, dramas and animated films of both short and feature length will be presented. Directors, Actors and Producers of the films will be in attendance for Q&A discussion following their films, and an awards ceremony will take place on March 24 to celebrate and honor our filmmakers.

The festival is organized by Texas Artists’ Cultural Alliance. TACA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to encourage, promote and cultivate indepenent film production in Victoria, TX.
