TXWader" Please...how many health related incidents have been attributed to any of the other treatment plants in the area? "
How many times have you asked someone living near a sewer plant if there have been any health issues? Let’s say Willow , try that one it is the closest . I am willing to believe you wouldn’t have the courage to step foot around the area .

The AftermathThe constituent states “I don't care how much money you're throwing away, you've got to respect your neighbors. They're expanding into us” “We're not expanding into them."
The permeating smell is akin to the stench of rotten eggs. It is the smell of hydrogen sulfide, a gas produced by decaying organic matter, such as the wastewater treatment plant.Exposure to the gas will cause headaches, fatigue, depression and nausea. It will irritate eyes and cause nerve and respiratory problems. Extremely high levels of hydrogen sulfide in a confined space -- not an outdoor setting -- can cause respiratory failure and death.
Research reveals a federal study detected a sharp rise in hospital visits on days with high levels of hydrogen sulfide in the air.
Furthermore extremely high levels of illnesses and cancers have been pointed towards the W.W treatment plants by nearby residents.
Just ask the residents living near Willow street. They have many complaints about their health in referance to the sewage nearby.
BSspotter That is a very important piece of information you got there. That is proof the mayor dropped the ball , by approving the defective recount petition .I figured that was the case by studying the timeline. The letter confirms it.

Roberttx You are correct .Too much conflict of interest. The Mayor should not be trusted anywhere near this situation.
Great story and lots of history to boot. I wonder if she included how badly the City of Victoria has treated them in the past. For example, the old dumping grounds with the sewage sludge right in their backyard. Furthermore, and the City’s intentions on doing it again with the newly proposed sewage plant.Such a shame and the council thinks tourist would seriously visit this town?
This article clearly points out how much of a liar Mayor Armstrong and his following chicks are. The council agreed not to find an alternate location for the sewer plant because it will force peoples water and sewage cost to go up, especially those with fixed incomes. Remember your lame excuse Ms. Rangel. Now the bill is going up anyway, to help pay for the new proposed sewer plant. Just tell us anything as usual .
TXEX“Negative venom “Who are you kidding. It appears, you condone the behavior of the self-serving city officials of subject. I love an Honest official with Integrity and Ethics that reflects a thriving growing city, or more superior reflecting a compassion for his or her constituents which is the Whole City of Victoria. I it is my opinion, you don’t have a clue about honesty and integrity. To top it off, I love city government. I don’t like ban wagon riders who condones corruption and dishonesty. Why don’t you try embracing a little integrity and compassion? I understand to much will choke you. Eat on it , choke on it and move on.
TXEXHow did you come to the conclusion that a determination was made? Maybe, because a group of attorneys was called in to say no violation was committed, and you believe or go along with whatever you hear. The article states that legal experts ruled this decision. I am willing to bet that the City clique ruled the experts to rule this OPINION. I believe Judges rule, not attorneys.
The active council members should politely ask Mayor Will Armstrong to resign. It is quite clear that the violation was made by the Mayor.
Furthermore, it is quite clear what the City Charter reads. The question is Why is he still here?
The partners in crime will come to surface when they began making excuses for the Mayor.
Not one active City Council member or municipal judge can condone and shun this man’s actions as if nothing ever happened. If any one of them tries, you will have the partner in corruption red handed.
Also, this city should not be paying for an outside consultant to inform these people how to weasel out of this mess. We already spent enough money on Armstrong for his defense once before.
How many times does our Mayor have to commit these acts towards our citizens, without anyone realizing he is reaching out for help? This man may need a psychological evaluation. But he needs to step down first.
