Wow, all the changes they have done makes me regret voting for the bond to build the new schools. So much has changed in the district since I went there. First Stroman was done as a 4 yr high school campus. Now Crain will no longer be a middle school. It upsets me that 2 of the 3 schools I went to before college is no longer. I had Helen Mccuthchen for my P.E. teacher when I was in 6th grade. She was an awesome teacher. I wish VISD would have left everything like the way it was when I was a child.

What about all the drivers that put on makeup and eat and drink and fiddle withhe radio while driving? Lets cite these people too. They aren't paying attention to driving.
So you are saying that allow 5 yrs to lapse before checking again. They might drive fine at 65 and then at 66 have problems. I think yearly from 65 and on. They should also be re-evaluated after every incident-speeding ticket on up. I've been behind or in front of very old people who shouldn't be on the road. They are as bad as teenagers.
Ban eating and putting on makeup in the car before cell phones. Much more dangerous. Or changing radio stations
Bull dogs should not be allowed in Victoria. Too many children live there and the owners don't take care of the dogs most of the time. Pepper you are in my prayers
The cit of Victoria does everything in its power to make sure Victoria doesn't grow. You mention all this new stuff, but what really is there to do in Victoria. I was so for the water park. It would create jobs that victoria desperately needs as well, as more reasons for people to come to victoria and stimulate the economy by buying goods there. Like gas,motel,groceries etc. This would have helped a lot. The city doesn't want to see Victoria prosper that's why they veto any new grocery store that tries to come to Victoria. Come on get with the program. How many towns with our population have only 2 major grocery? Not many.
We have all complained about this and nothing is going to change. Next year almost every student is moving to a different school. These children have to learn to accept it. I did. If you don't like the schhool you are going to either move or hush. The school board has made their decisions. They promised us it was only schools they wanted to build-not move everyone. They lied to all of us when they did this. We just have to deal with it.
More family oriented businesses. Like a waterpark and family oriented restaurants. Like cracker barrel. The mall needs to be torn down and brought up to par. I hate the victoria mall. The stores all but the main ones come and go. We need a mall that will attract families. Victoria needs a toy store too. Victoria also needs GROCERY stores to bring down the prices on groceries. Walmart and HEB are too cocky. Victoria wants everyone to buy here and they don't have anything. Even when you get a decent store they don't keep their shelves filled so again you have to travel out of town.
