The wait for anything at VWC is crazy! Having to take a whole day off of work so you can waste it waiting for a 15 minute appointment is ridiculous! I wish Dr. Westford all the best and hope that she can provide the personalized care for women that is lacking in Victoria!
Getting rid of the 14th and 17th amendments is ludicrous. The 14th protects the rights of citizenship and prevents states from depriving anyone of their rights without due process. It also gives equal protection under the law, prevents states from denying voting rights, and declares Civil War debt valid.
The 17th allows for the direct election of senators by the people.
I find it odd that you think those should go, I kinda like them.
Familyman - several people on the northern side of town choose to go to Cuero, just like several people on the southern side choose Calhoun. We also have kids that transfer to Industrial. If you look at the academics and athletics of these other districts, it is easy to see why parents may choose to transfer their child. Hopefully, VISD can turn it around. Our kids deserve great schools for all grade levels in the town they live in.
So only US citizens are entitled to civil rights? Someone should have mentioned that before we started fighting in wars all over the world to "help" people gain basic freedoms...
With our country in a budget crisis, can someone explain to me why I have received 6 notices in the mail regarding the census - including 2 forms? How much did all of the extra paperwork cost? What about the paper work reduction act?
You are right in saying that he is not responsible for all actions of all Catholics. He is however, responsible for his own. You say that he did nothing wrong, but in the opinion of most of the civilized world, protecting child molesters is wrong. If he did nothing wrong as you claim, why are Vatican officials claiming that he has immunity as a Head of State? Why does someone need immunity if they have done nothing wrong? How quickly would you be calling for Obama's head on a platter if he was in the same situation as a Head of State?
Yes, other religions have people that abuse their positions of power. The point is, is that they should all be held accountable in the eyes of the law regardless of what god they worship or what organization they belong to.

If he had insurance, he would have paid his office visit co-pay and that is it. The meds would depend on his prescription coverage.
