joseexist--I commend you for the apologies to my friends in the compact. I too was standing up for friends who were unwillingly pushed into danger. My children and I have ridden many times with both of these drivers and will do so again. The fact that their car did not roll, leave the causeway or have a collison with you or any others is a testament to Dana's safe and defensive driving and God's miracles. Thank you again for your apologies.

joseexist--so sorry you had a bad experience--but the women in the car had an even worse day. I think you should remember this event as a prime example of every story having more than just your side. I am sure your vent made you feel better, but I know it made those women feel worse. And yes, it seemed like you were blaming them for your bad day.

We live in Point Comfort, just like the occupants of the blue car, and we have to cross that causeway several times a day to live our daily lives. This is just another story to add to the list of close calls. Now, in addition to morning rush, quitting time speedway, cell-phone talking drivers, we have to contend with illegals speeding from the law. We will get up tomorrow and do it again with this latest incident in our minds and be just that much more aware. I would also like to thank God for the protection he gave my good friends and neighbors in that car.
