It is sad when we cannot trust our local doctors. I grew up in a small town north of here, on march 5th my brother went to see the local doctor in this small town. He was complaining of chest pains. The doctor without x-ray told him it was a touch of pneumonia(spelling) and gave him a script for anti-biotics. My brother went home took the anti-biotic and died. The ems did cpr and transported him the the er. The doctor at the er told us that he died from heart failure. When we got his death certificate weeks later it stated that he choked to death on food. He was not eating when he passed. After looking at the death certificate we notice that the dr that called time of death at the er did not sign the death certificate, a local JP did. Looks like a huge cover up to me but what do u do?

I think it is not right how all the stores have an entire section dedicated to just one ethnic group. What about all the Czech, German, and other groups.
Why can't we listen? Is there something to hide? I enjoy listening to the scanner, and since we all pay taxes shouldnt we have the right to listen if we want. I think they could have found other things to spend money on instead of this radio upgrade...
I think it is great for people who are running for office to stop in Victoria. We have seen a lot of Medina supporters and it was refreshing to see Hutchinson. It will be an interesting election process..
This is a terrible situation for the workers of Tandy Brand. I know a lot of people who worked there for years and now they are out of a job. Upper management of this company should be ashamed of it actions. The sad thing is, many companies continue to outsource jobs to china. Do they take in consideration what it does to the little man? The local shops there in Yoakum should all ban together and pull all products from this company and only sell quality products produced by other local companies. If they want out of Yoakum, let kick them out!
I love to watch debates and found the debate last night an awsome one. Last nights debate should have been a real eye opener for many Texans. Rick Perry really showed his true colors, he came off as a shady and out of touch with the real issues we face. He danced around almost all of the questions and often seemed confused. His confusion and lack of reality is what got us in the mess we are in. Medina did a good job and was I was impressed with her answers. Still not sure who I am going to vote for but Perry will not get my vote for sure.
I think anyone who is threatened by a pit bull should have the right to kill the animal. I have two children and i will shoot any animal that comes on my property and is a threat. The problem we face today is that some wack jobs think an animal's life is just important as a humans. It is my understanding that Victoria county does not have a leash law. One needs to be imposed and the owners of dangerous animals should be held accountable. Victims that act out to defend themselves or loved ones should not be punished.
Well talking to many neighbors of mine one the top problems with trash is the fact the cost of trash pick up in rural areas. Since I have moved out to the country the cost of rural trash pickup is way high. I thank God I have a well paying job so I can afford it, but for those who can't God only knows what they do with the trash.
What is wrong with people here lately. Stabbing someone over an air conditioner, what kind of trash would do that. Hope they get years of jail time for this... I wonder if they have jobs, a/c's are only $99 at wal mart.
Taxing the church is a good idea. I bet they would learn to keep their mouths shut. We have had a republican president for the past eight years, did he end abortion?
