I have lived in this area a long time and have been bitten while jogging and am thankful it wasn't a pit bull but just a small, scared mutt defending his driveway. Pit bulls just don't bite but latch onto the victim with powerful jaws in an attempt to kill the person. So, breed is an issue and I think these dogs should be banned especially from dense neighborhoods.

I can't help wondering why anyone would have or even want 10 vicious and restrained animals at their home? What are they protecting? Fort Knox? And why don't pit bull owners realize that their dogs don't just bit but latch on and tear apart their prey?

Mothers and women have abandoned their roles as planetary civilizers and peacemakers and act like testosterone loaded ruffians. The daughters are merely following their aggressive leads. Whatever happened to teaching daughters to be graceful and polite? This is called social balance, ying yang, I see lots of women, girls and teens with high levels of male energy. Imitating men is not strength but foolish times two. Wake up women and embrace your dignity, pride and femininity. If, any of you can remember what that means.

What I don't understand is why one must go inside to pay their bill with a debit card rather than being allowed to pay through the drive through service. The office does not open until 8 a m therefore I have to hurry to pay by debit card inside and rush to get to work by 8:30.

I've collected sea glass, artifacts and remnants of Indianola's hurricanes for over twenty years, making art from them. Nature destroyed the town but man has finished off the delicate beaches my children and I used to enjoy. All that's left now are cement block barriers. Without a beach to rest on, Indianola's artifacts will forever remain buried.

What crime was he simulating? And, is simulating less than an actual crime?

I'm not so sure about the campaign but I am curious as to the lack of consistent hours kept by the owners of downtown businesses. It is hard to plan with friends or direct out of town visitors to any one spot when so many owners seem to open and close their establishments based on their lives' priorities rather than anything dependable for outsiders. So, how do you think this practice will affect the resurgence of the downtown revitalization project? And, what does this say about our town's true welcoming nature?
