I see that now and that's something new I learned about her. I tried to remove the comment, but it won't let me.

This was a nice article about a great girl. Would be better had her name been spelled correctly. It's April, not Abril.

Both of my children attend GISD and I love that they get to learn so much technology. That doesn't mean the other things go by the wayside. They still are required to know their reading, writing and arithmetic. They were both taught about the proper techniques for hand-written letters. I believe this was around the second grade. So they are taught these things ALONG with the technology. Living in these times, technology is almost a must. I'm so glad my kids have the opportunity to be taught the things they are--they know so much more and are less afraid of the computer than I am.

I apologize I was given misinformation about which accident she was in. There WAS another motorcycle accident in Goliad County around noon on Sunday near Berclair. I listened to it on the scanner. I was told Megan was in that accident. Either way my heart goes out to the Megan's family and friends. Her grandparents are long-time family friends, as is her boyfriend. May she rest in peace.

Megan was in the Goliad accident and she did pass away after being taken to the hospital. The accident in Mission Valley was a different one.

An update would be good and maybe some info on a similar wreck in Goliad County yesterday. A young lady died in that accident. Too many motorcycle accidents lately.
