I believe she said that representing another district would require a great deal of travel, and at this time she needed to focus on being there for an ill family member rather than travel. Obviously, representing her current district will require less travel, and therefore less time away from her family.
I always feel like I'm stepping back in time when I eat at Fossati's. They have great soups and sandwiches, and it is so cool to eat at the oldest deli in Texas!
For Mexican food, I think my favorite is Ventura's. Their homemade taco shells are awesome! Siesta and La Hacienda are great for Mexican food as well.
The best catfish in the Crossroads isn't at a seafood restaurant. It's at Frontier Bar-B-Q in Edna. They have great barbecue, but I always love their catfish and homemade hushpuppies.
A couple of my coworkers were telling me they stopped by Yummy Finds this week for a cupcake snack. They said the cupcakes were delicious. I guess I'll have to find out for myself. Soon. :)
The cost of the new pharmacy technician program at VC is $2,395 for tuition and books.
The program is meant to prepare you for the PTCB exam. Also, the program's 120-hour externship gives students hands-on experience that comes in handy when searching for a job.
If you are interested in becoming a pharmacy technician, I encourage you to attend the information session at VC on Nov. 12.
Natasha - Glad to hear your first semester at UT went well. Have you seen the first issue of CareerFocus magazine that The Victoria College recently published? You are featured on p.8 of the publication.
You can view the online interactive version of the magazine at www.CareerFocusVC.com.
