"you should know that the only reason william wood and guadelupe have to share a principal is because of geography...they are so close that the district is cutting a financial corner by making one person do the job of 2...mission valley gets its own principal only because it's not close enough to another school to share. the district does this across the board, even with nurses...they expect schools to share nurses and nurses to travel so it is not guaranteed that a school will have a licensed nurse on campus everyday...steps like this save the district money but also put children at risk...and fyi...william wood was closed at one time yet the district reopened it for the children"

"i've applied on line for tanif/foodstamps/medicaid, got the app., sent it off... i got one message from my case worker at 4:58, i missed the call, she left a message to call her. i've tried a handful of times... without luck. i'm gonna have to drive down to the office in my un-insured car to make an appointment for the following week, get out in my un-insured car again to meet with the worker... and that's all if i qualify :( which it's been a month since i requested. i just feel the coils tightening."
