    Ricardo...

Because America loves a freak show. I want to see athletes dragging their knuckles on the ground when they walk. I want to see a batter built like a gorilla slam the ball 700 feet into the parking lot. I want to see a pitcher with popeye arms throw a 170 mph fastball.

I want my football players to be 500 lbs goliaths that can mow through a line of parked cars like grass. Or kick an 82 yard field goal. Or throw a touchdown pass from one endzone to the other through the air (no yards after catch).

    Now thats entertainment.

Can anyone who was there in the later hours last night post a crowd estimate ?

They were expecting anywhere from 10 - 20 thousand but the photo and accompanying article only alludes to a few hundred with an increase expected later. And yes I know the 20 thousand estimate includes both days of the event.

No intention of bashing the festival. It is what it is. Just curious if it is paying off as expected. I would imagine it is free this year due to it being the first time they have put this on. Next year I think they will charge some kind of fee to get in. They have to try and cover their costs not only for the fireworks but the extra security during and the clean up afterward.

How about today ? Right now ?

Not one more soldier need be put a risk nor a single dime of taxpayer money wasted. We should have declared mission accomplished years ago and got out of that whole region.

They have no intention of re-paying us with oil or remaining our friends. They are already showing signs of aligning with Syria and Iran.

    What a tragic waste.

Oh brother, I'm not judging her but merely pointing out what I perceive as a contradiction. By the way Jesus was not suggesting we can't discern right from wrong.

By your logic we can't ever say, do or act against something that is sinful, evil or just plain wrong. I don't believe that is the context Jesus was trying to teach in those verses.

Good luck finding someone who is not biased against gangsters. Unless you want a jury full of actual gangbangers and their families, which would seem kinda silly considering the context.

Your logic in regard to christianity and the sale of porn is kinda twisted lady. For some reason I just can't picture our Lord and Savior pimping porn because the money made could go to worthy causes.
