"Writein: I appreciate your concern. Your theory about TAMU buttering up Rep. Morrison -- in the form of campaign contributions so that she would work to switch UHV into its system -- just doesn't hold water. I don't intend for that comment to come off as snarky; I'm trying to be frank with you. First, Rep. Morrison received contributions from a host of university PACs, including UH, UT and A&M, among others. UH donated more than A&M during the most recent reporting period. Second, your theory is based on the idea A&M has all along wanted UHV in its system, and thus tried to make it happen by funding Morrison's campaign. All the information we know -- given to us from sources close to this negotiation -- shows people in Victoria pushed for the switch to A&M, not the other way around. I hope this helps -- Gabe"

"For the within past ten years, this town Victoria have witness corruption of leadership in the V.I.S.D, City Council, Law Enforcement, and even in the District Attorney’s office . Therefore my questions about the relationship between State Rep. Geanie Morrison and that of Texas A&M and Texas Tech is warrant and it should not be cast off as being without merit. I look up sites such www.Followthemoney.org and other independent research sites. For me I see a pattern. In Spring 2003 HB3015 (which our State Rep. wrote) passed and sign into law by Rick Perry. Correct me if I am wrong, Mr. Semenza, but didn’t the Victoria A&M club give Mrs. Morrison an award because HB3015 benefited Texas A&M with UT and Texas Tech, while punishing other universities? Along with that, Texas A&M started to fund the Morrison campaign in 2004, 2006, and 2010. And for what? When there is no opposition from the weaken and sacred Democrats. What about the so called “rumor” about the unmarked $100k expenditure asked by B.S. Spotter? What about the Jaguar name since A&M-SA have the Jaguar name? Have you or anyone from asked State Rep. Geanie Morrison about her chances in 2012 because of this bill? "

"Weiner Dog Wanted: A few days ago my beloved little dacshund Fannie passed away from congestive heart failure. She was 13 yrs 6 mos. of age. Until the day she died she was happy and healthy, playing and running with my other weiner dog Maxie. A big empty space was left by this wonderful little dog-gal. I know she is in a wonderful peaceful place now. and Maxie and I are so lonely. I went out today, searching for a new weiner dog to come and live with us. We need a pleasant natured, laid back sweet natured little girl weiner, hopefully a couple of years old, not a baby puppy. that just needs a home and lots of love and adventures. Sorry, cannot provide with a nervous, mean tempered one, just a neat little girl dacshund that can join us in an easy going life, in the country, to be well taken care of and live inside with all the puppy cookies she can eat. She will have a great companion with my other dog, and my grandkids. give me an email if you know of please email me or call (361) 574-9627"

"How about asking how many GM owners will NOT buy GM again since the tax payer bailout and bankrupt thing? I have preferred to own many GM trucks as you know...the one I have now will be gone one of these days...it is the LAST GM truck I will own unless Ford messes up too."

"Gabe: I tried to call Chris this morning about today's editorial, but he's out. I just wanted to share that the $80 billion figure is incorrect. The Nuclear Energy Institute says that, "New nuclear power plants are large facilities and are expected to cost $6 billion to $8 billion each (2008 dollars)." Exelon has not discussed costs for a Victoria plant. Thanks, Bill "
