Happy for the residents of La Bahia....but I am more excited that Weesatche is going to be getting a similar system.
My heart goes out to the Wise Family. I went to school with Ronnie and although he was not in my grade, growing up in Goliad you know everbody. I just saw him a few weeks ago and he was wondering how I was doing and what's new in my life and he always had a smile and seemed to be a very happy person. Rest in peace my friend....you will be missed.
Deer are not the only animals to watch out for...wild hogs are bad right now too. I live out in the country in Goliad County and I know all too well how bad the animals are right now. I hit two wild hogs Sunday night when I was going around a curve and they darted out in front of me. Be Careful and don't mess with your cell phone, radio, or anything else distracting...wait till you get home or take care of everything before you leave for your destination.

I am from Goliad and my friend was talking about the accident on her Facebook, so I put a comment on Victoria Advocate's Facebook letting them know about the fire early Friday morning. They said they had not heard anything about it until I told them, so I am glad I said something...of course they would have found out eventually. I don't mind helping them out whenever I hear something that is newsworthy.
Mr. Von Dohlen was a Wonderful Person and Great to Work for. I Worked at his Ford Dealership in sales and he was always willing to help out any way he could. May He Rest in Peace.
Like everyone else stated, Jim's Big Burger has the Best Burgers I have ever had and I Wish all of You the Best of Luck and Many More Years of Good Food and Friendly Service!
