well all the food is usually gone because all the older girls eat it all just to be greedy. I was extra mad because I even had to pitch in money and even some food to share ( one that the seniors specifically picked out) I remember looking forward to the after school party because i was soo hungry since we eat lunch early. It was so unfair and My mom was mad that we had to stop on the way home and pick up fast food.
I am the drill team member that was telling my story about how cruel and unfair drill team life can be. I am speaking anonymously because of fear and retaliation. No matter what I post it gets removed . I am hoping that someone in administraton or the school board is aware of what is happening. Maybe they will read this. It is obvious who is controlling and removing these drill team comments. I know it is the director.
so far no one has mentioned any specific names or families but i just might...

just a mom, the drill team that we are discussing is the memorial high dance and drill team but they are also called victoriadores.

starfish, dj will make us think that we owe her something and make us think that she is our mother. What you are saying is true and Dj has been know to get in our faces and tell us what to do and how to do it or else we don't dance and we are not good enough. Then if the other girls find out then we will get singled out and mistreated from them. I am ready to leave but don't know how.

mom 68 , I know exactly what happened. Dj probably had it removed or she ordered someone else to do it but I have every right to speak my mind especially if is the truth! here is a copy of my first post.
There was a comment posted from a mother who had had a horrible TKB experience. The mother went on to describe how her drill team daughter was mistreated and hazed by the Major and Senior Officers on the Drill Team. I am positive that this is true because I am a member of the drill team and i see this hazing on a regular basis. The senior officers harass and belittle all other members and the director does nothing. In fact there is a senior officer on the team right now who is pregnant and the director is trying her hardest to conceal the pregnancy so that it wont tarnish the drill team image. This year has been a horrible year for me. I dont think things will get better and I am definatly considering getting off this team.
