I have very good memories of Coach Nelson while I was in high school. He was one of the best teachers that have ever taught at that school. It broke my heart when I found out that he was reassigned from coaching to teaching at the Jr High. Thank you for the good article on Coach Nelson.

Mr. Daryl Hale was a fine man. I was saddened to hear about his death and I remembered him when we were growing up in Bay City. My condolences to his mother Carolyn and his brother Lance.
