I think we ALL are in some way or another...I'll be the first to admit in many ways, I am VERY spoiled! It's really all in how you define spoiled, but in general, Americans are as spoiled as they come. NO other country compares to our spoiled ways! That's my opinion!
No other way to say my peace on this issue other than how it's already been said....
@KyleC - TRUE statement on your behalf!
In regards to the Mosque...Let's worry more about getting our troops home, the over spilling of government spending, the horrible health care bill they are shoving down our throats...etc...etc...BTW, Who are WE to judge what another group does...look at our kind over on their land at this very moment, we shouldn't be there at all fighting a war that's getting us NOWHERE! Our government worries too much about other countries rather than focusing on the HORRIBLE condition OUR VERY OWN COUNTRY IS IN!!! There are far more things to worry about rather than a group of people wanting to have a prayer site. So what where it is?!?! There's more to life than worrying about things such as this. Isn't that the whole basis of our Nation, FREEDOM? But, at the rate our WONDERFUL President and all his clowns are at, will only slip further and further from that right, OUR RIGHT to choose anything that goes on in our very own lives. The whole basis of our (constitutional) rights are being torn to shreds...It's very sad! I feel so bad for my children and ESPECIALLY theirs when that time comes! Us Americans need to focus our efforts on much BIGGER things than this!!!! I'm as AMERICAN as they come, but this is CHILDISH! YES, a very TRAGIC thing happened 600ft from where they want to build, but is doesn't take away from ones right to practice their religion and FREEDOM, they have a right to choose too! PERIOD!!!!
From my personal experience with VISD school bus routes, It will NEVER will be my fault because the BUS DRIVER can't do his job correctly. And if you don't think only having one entrance to a HIGH SCHOOL isn't absurd, you really do need to use that link for yourself. You seem to be only looking at it from an outside perspective, obviously.
@ N45BA - I'm guessing you are judging us because of our personal experiences with VISD and labeling us as whiners because of it?! Shame on YOU! My kids deserve WAY better than what they were given in regards to the school bus system in Vic. Who are YOU to judge MINE as well as my CHILDREN'S INEXCUSABLE experiences. Do us all a favor and use that link you so "gracefully" suggested for yourself. Me ne frego ... Mettersi il paraocchi. ;)
Diane Boyett said - "Parents do not have to create long lines of traffic if they let their children ride the bus."
HUMMMM.... WELL, DIANE! I "CHOOSE" TO NOT let my kids ride the bus because just as with the ridiculous ONE entrance to the HS, y'all can't even get the bus routes right. Twice last year my children were not picked up.
SO, NO THANK YOU! I will take my own children to school. Not only will they get there a lot sooner, also, I feel more content about ME taking them than those who can't even get routes right when that's their JOB!
I just can't get over the ONE entrance to a HS...I mean even CUERO has more than one way to get in! CUERO!!!!
WOW...I never knew of this until now! How weird, but scary at the same time.
My father had this done just last week and he said it was a lot better than the previous stress tests he has due to him being diabetic. It was faster and and way more accurate.
