Beautifully written, God has a purpose and a plan for us all. The way we share Jesus with others comes in so many ways, the most important being the great love that He gives us for others. What a mighty way God is using Tim Tebow. Colossians 3:12-20 New International Version (NIV) 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
I think it is sad that people take potshots at East High. "house of thugs" really is that needed. Have any of you thought about building one another up in encouragement, focusing on the things that truly matter. We are all created the same, we all may not have the same privileges ($$$) that others have. "house of thugs" well they are just like you and me and your children and the children of everyone else. They may not be equipped with all, but guess what they make the best of what they do have and they are great people. We are not here to judge others, anytime that you take pots shots at others, you are not building up His kingdom you are tearing it down. My prayer is that; I pray that people will begin to have as much passion for Jesus as they do for their, sports, their shopping, their cooking, their decorating, their electronic devices, their ........creating a life filled with Him is what makes this whole world a better place. The Love He exudes through us in indescribable. It's so amazing. Reach deep inside and breath deeply may His spirit inhabit your soul. Amen All of these issues are petty in relation to what is really going on.
Beautiful representation of Craig's life. He was an amazing person and we are all better for knowing him. There are no words to describe what he provided for others, the best one is love. We'll miss him dearly, but we shall meet again and it will be a glorious day. RIP our dear sweet friend.
Today, choose to speak the blessing. Sow good seeds into the lives of the people you love and for those you may not even know. Remember, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. As you sow the blessing, you’ll reap the blessing and experience His victory and favor all the days of your life! Please choose words of kindness, and compassion. Praying for this family in their time of sorrow. May God comfort their hearts and souls!
I don't think that it should be taught. We were created from and by God. If they want to offer it as an elective then so be it and whatever students would like to engage in the class will be great for them. But just like we are not allowed to teach the Bible in school because they say it will upset others and be impenging on their beliefs then don't force others to study something we do not believe in. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. Need I go any further. The only instruction manual for life is the Bible. He gave us all the instruction we need in it.
Everyday, all throughout the day should be a day of prayer. Galations 5:22-23 But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law. May we all try to speak good of others, be encouraging, be positive. A united day of prayer is good, everyday at high noon the Lord's Prayer is prayed on KSBJ too, feel free to join in each day.
How aweful for something like this to happen to a good person of the community. I am appalled and I certainly hope that he gets his job back, it was not his mistake and he had to endure something so horrific. Please where is the compassion and understanding. He has a family to provide for.
