More money spent in Victoria for the downtown employees...lawyers, city hall folk, etc. Who else can go downtown to enjoy this? Stupid waste of money where only a select few can enjoy....same ole'
I have not been to a post office nor bought a stamp in at least 10 years. There is no immediate need for them anymore. All bills, magazines, etc. are online. Maybe reduce the days of operations to only 2-3 days a week. I hear there are kiosks inside for stamps and such and it is cheaper to ship UPS or FedEx.
Do not waste my money on downtown area. There is nothing to do or see. I am not impressed by new sidewalks for lawyers. I have not personally been downtown in many years because there is nothing there. Everything I need is already established in north Victoria. How about a little TLC for the area around the mall to make that more appealing.
Why waste my money there? Y'all need to waste my money where people actually live, like the north part of town. I can't even remember the last time I had any reason to visit downtown.

The kids can not be blamed. They give it all they got. We need 5A or 4a coaches that can handle the program and rebuild it. The most talented athletes at MHS are in the stands. I have never seen or heard of any of the MHS coaches visiting a junior high to see the talent and keep them in the program. Just go see St. Joe, they are all there due to Finley and his entourage. We are the joke of the district. Victoria is an "easy" game for everyone. El Campo used it to try new things to get ready for their 4A district. Save Victoria Football, fire a Finley and they all will go. Whoever is calling offensive plays needs to go. Defense is terrible. Victoria has the talent, they just don't want to play for these coaches. We are on the road to a third consecutive losing season. When does it stop?
The weak spot for the team is at receiver. I don't understand how they can put last years lame cornerbacks coach with receivers. Has it not been proven he is not an effective coach? The receivers were dropping balls on Saturday and apparently the wrong routes with all the yelling going on. Offensive line looks good. I just hope we don't pass the ball too often.
He knew what he was doing and only showed remorse once he got caught. He did not come forward to turn himself in and stop on his own. He would probably still be killing dogs.
