I voted against this as it made no sense on the ballot. Doesn't redundant mean the same. A 5% cap and a 8% cap is not the same. The person who wrote it this way may have understood it because they understood the background but when seeing it for the first time it makes no sense. I think the people who voted for it thought they were merging parts that read exactly the same, meaning no changes.

This would not be the first time we did not.get the whole story. There is no way any investigation into this has been completed. If the creep was molesting the girl then I salute the father. But none of us know what the evidence said.
Seems like vicad could have verified why the man was in court as part of fact checking their story. What happened to papers getting whole story or investigative reporting? Give me news based on facts and not word turned so that the story seems hotter than it is.
I wondered if that was the same school district. Better to say its not all the parents, cause some just don't care. Leave message after message, send note after note about lit' Johnny's behavior and grades with no response. But don't allow class snack one day bam suddenly you hear from lil' Johnny's parents. Or a child who you call contact number after contact number and no answers or return calls. Or li' susie heads out the class but you can't stop her because only those specially trained can do that. Teachers are suppose to teach and be able to control their classes but have lost all tools to do so. Maybe this guy has some new tricks up his sleeve.
Jordan I was only repeating the reason you gave previously for not going to an approved track. It was your comment about not wanting to meet their safety requirements. Backtracking again? If safety was their priority they would not be racing on public city roads with any kind of vehicle. So if a kid lives in Houston or San Antonio what would they have to do?
Jordan you have commented before that you don't go race at a approved track because they require a roll cage and "who wants to ruin a car with a roll cage." So I guess I heard part of it from you.If safety was the concern these people would not be racing or revving it up where there is a possibility of hurting someone else. What kind of track is that out on north 59?
These racers do not want a legal track because they would have to follow safety rules. Who would be liable when someone got hurt? Kids have always complained there is nothing to do. That does not give them the right to break the law and put other people in danger. There things to do just not with the rush they seek. Go fishing, canoingDisc golfSport leagues
I also have a problem with a developer who buys land on not only a track but at an intersection, builds apartment unit, then has concerns about the train horn.
Hopefully someone new will look into their police depts.
I ask because I have been told never to allow someone to borrow your car because you can be held liable if the borrower is responsible for a wreck. Even if borrower has their own insurance.Praying for the poor boy with the broken back.
