Come on now! Let men be men. They enjoy getting away from their wives and having a little joke time amongst themselves! As if there aren't worse cases where actual physical sexual harassment takes place and it is either NEVER reported or nothing is done to protect their credibility!? Just stating my opinion......
I wish for a Very Merry Christmas for all the kids in the surrounding areas. I moved here last year and have been looking forward to Christmas in the Park this year, when I heard of this incident it broke my heart. I'm glad they found the ones who committed the crime, so now maybe we can have a better Holiday season knowing the lights will be fixed soon!

Well let's see JUSTAMOM, it seems that you need to get ALL your ducks in a row before you try and bash a town because of recent events. 1.) It's called a HOMICIDE not murder, what do you think this is CSI? PENDING INVESTIGATION. 2.) Your "car jacker" was handcuffed before he decided to run. Don't you think it's kind of hard to run with your hands restrained behind your back...The baggy pants played a SMALL role. 3.) If you HONESTLY read the news, your "elderly rapist" was a ONE time occurence, that is still happening all over south and central Texas...NOT just Yoakum. 4.) As for your DRUG BUST (W/O an S) is all part of area LE cleaning up the city of Yoakum. SO YOU NEED TO QUIT THINKING EVERYTIME A SERIOUS CRIME HAPPENS, YOAKUM IS COMMING TO AN END OR SOMETING. Let LE take care of these situations, NOT YOU!!! YOUR comments (JUSTAMOM and others with a NEGATIVE outlook) are what's putting small towns down, such as Yoakum. Oh, and by the way,Yoakum is STILL the same as WHEN your family and you lived in Yoakum...FOR THE SHORT TIME!!! So quit watching In the Heat of the Night and look at your own crime stats in VICTORIA!!! Do you lock your doors at night MOM???...I BET YOU DO!!! As I said before let LE (Law Enforcement for those who don't know) do their job. If you care so darn much voice your opinions in a CITY COUNCIL meeting where it matters!!!
Yoakum is a safe town and peaceful, every town has it's random cases. It is not like it happens often, you may get a bad case once or twice a year if that.
maybe he still IS a suspect....like they are saying it is still "under investigation"
