You’ve been a fixture here at the VicAd for so long, I bet you’ve got moss on your back! Lol
I always enjoyed what we have in common, Mike. Also, we don’t agree on all things, but I could count on a civil discussion with you 100% of the time. Never will forget our encounter years ago with Joe Bean on the forum- God rest his soul.
Thanks for being a reliable anchor of reason on this spot. I saw you take lots of heat from some less-than-well meaning posters, and your knowledge and patience would prove you were a class act.
Thanks for the advice throughout the years. God bless you, my friend, and I do hope to “see” you again somewhere, sometime.

I see this as a positive change. Like many of the changes over the last several years, most people got used to them and some moved on. Good move, VicAd., IMHO.
Ditto! Thanks, Ms. Ray and Mr. Tilley.
Dianna Wray and the VicAd, thanks so much for remembering and honoring our veterans with the front page article and the quotes from these two local veterans.
WWW, I agree that his witnessing of the horrors of the war bring about comments of pacificism, as I've seen other WWII vets say similiar things. His actions of fighting in the war, risking his life, and contributing to the eventual winning of the war speak loudest for me.
BTW, VicAd, it's not just the adults who like these articles, my 10-yr. old son is a history aficionado, and he'll have first dibs on the front page this morning. Thanks!
Wonderful article. Congratulations and best wishes to Josh! God bless you, Ms. Leonard.
I too read Mr. Von Dolen's obituary, and it made quite an impression on me My family and I talked about it, especially the part about having your cancer screenings checked out. His message will affect people positively. Thanks for highlighing the obituary.
Frances, we have a paper man named Hurley.
Who's never at all been churly.
I wish you the best.
But give another paperman a test.
Since lessons he'll have from the best.
Jordan, that's why I said animals without reason. Humans are the animals with reason (most of the time!).
Kyle, some animals also participate in gang rape and physical battery during copulation. That's why they're called ANIMALS that have not reason.
Just 'cuz an animal does it doesn't make it so natural for humans.
RIP Donna Summer, a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice.
