Good job Coach Kooper! Both on Heart awareness and coaching!
Great picture of you two! You both look very happy. Kaci you're one of the most genuine people I've ever met, and its always from the heart. I wish you both all the happiness that life can bring!
Thanks JR for making a wonderful memory for two young people!!!
I don't want the government to take care of me or my family, as we are able to "WORK". So it should go without saying that I don't want to pay for free health and living expenses for those that are not LEGAL CITIZENS of the United States. Stop giving them everything in the form of a "freebie" and you won't have the illegal immigration problem. My grandfather came to this country "leagally"! And yes it took a while, even back then. But guess what he did first? Got a job, and accepted no "handouts"! He raised a family with principles and a work ethic. Paid his taxes, and his own way! I believe in helping those in need, that's just another thing passed down in my family. But our government "needs" to learn the meaning of "need". And it is not a sad story, or a want for something free. The plain Fact is....we don't have enough people working now to take care of everyone on assists that are citizens. How are we going to pay for all this? You have to have more people working and paying taxes!
Was out of town the weekend of the 18th. However my understanding is that there were SEVERAL car burglaries on that saturday....8-10 of them. All in the afternoon, broad daylight and in several businesses parking lots. I can't find anything about this string of burglaries, just this one at Montana Mike's. I would hope that the Advocate would list all the burglaries in a story, to show the citizens just how dangerous these types of crime can be. One lone incident doesn't tell the WHOLE story! There were A LOT of burglaries that Saturday! Has anyone put it together......probably the same people doing this????
I agree Barry!!!!!!
Headline "Quality Could Decline With Plan". I think it should read...."Quality WILL Decline With Plan". For those that look at other countries and say they pay less and get more. You are correct to a point. They do pay less, and they do get more SUBSTANDARD care. If you were to receive the medical care they do in the United States, you would be on the streets with a protest sign. And filing lawsuits. Look past their cost and you will see that those countries also have patients waiting months on end for medical tests that we are granted in days. Test that could save their lives!
To N45BA, fatboy and others. I could post a comment of great length. Instead I believe it would be better to keep it short and to the point. The citizens of Victoria County are NOT “scared people”, they are informed citizens. They put their families, friends and community before the “dollar”. And all it takes to become an “Informed Citizen” is to do your research on the following disasters. They have been trying to make nuclear energy safe for many years. They have yet to achieve that goal. These are just the “major” disaster, there are many more so called “minor” disasters. Please become informed before you place the citizens of Victoria on this list!
