Most unforgettable experience on the job: Covering my first hurricane for UNT's student newspaper, North Texas Daily. A photographer and I drove from Denton to Houston before Hurricane Ike. Although we were not able to make it into Galveston, reporting on the damage to the city's business district and the resulting impact on UNT made it worth the effort.
