Wouldn't it be origional if people of this country would refer to themselves as "American" instead of being hyphenated.

For all who think Obama has a "Transparent" Administration, does Watergate ring a bell? This man is stright from the Chicago political machine. He has lied over and over again and yet the press give him a pass. He's on Vacation and according to the press having a wonderful time with friends yet the Gulf oil leak continues. He passes laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown to the V.P. His whole adjenda is "Look at me" and nothing else. He's breaking the country, doesn't give a darn about illegal immigration, doesn't care about border security and blames everything on prior administrations. Tell me, when does it become His administration? When does he accept responsibility? When does the buck stop on his desk? This person will go down in history as the worst President this nation ever had.
I wonder just how Gulf Coast people are taking in this Holiday weekend? Probably not as well as our Leader. Too bad he's too busy with "Friends" to honor our War Dead but I guess that's "Old Hat" these days in Washington D.C.
Where's the Boss? Chi-town for a mini vacation or maybe having Clinton offering some other candidate running for office a soft job in the Administration.
What I don't understand is La Raza pitching a scream about discrimination. Has anyone driven to McAllen? Have you gone through the immigration check point? Were you ever asked to show idenification? I was twice! The AZ law is not as strict as the Federal Law. People are tired of paying the freight for people who break the law and then expect the exact same rights as a citizen or legal immigrant. Just go to the valley and see how much work the Border Patrol is doing to control the border. President Obama doesn't have a clue as to what is going on. To me there is nothing wrong with Police asking for I.D. They do it everyday in Victoria if your stopped. Guess what happens if you can't prove who you are?
My wife cleaned out her closet and we folded and bagged some real nice women's clothes, some had never been wore. I got to the Salvation Army at 10 minutes after three and went in and saw two men and a women standing by the counter. I asked the men if they would give me a hand with the bags. One Gentlemen told me the Salvation didn't take any donations after three o'clock. I told them they were bagged, folded and clean and he then told me that people, if they saw them coming into the store would want to "go through them". There was no one in the store except the three employees. I told them I thought their "rule" sucked because I could see the storage room fifteen feet away. They said "rules are rules". I took the bagged clothes to the dump and the next day I wrote a letter to the "Commander" of the store and told him/her what had happened. I never got a reply. In the future I will give to another charity because apparently the Salvation Army is so well off they don't need any donations anymore. I never did get a reply to my letter.
It never ceases to amaze me just how dumb people are. If it seems too good to be true, guess what, it probably isn't!

I see "mothers" buying their kids "Little Debbie's" snacks before they go to school, full of sugar. The problem is parents being too lazy to fix decent breakfasts and dinners. A fast food lunch, once in a while, isn't bad but a steady diet is going to kill you. Kick the kids out after school to play, walk, run instead of sitting and watching the boob tube, playing electronic games. It's isn't the Government's responsibility to watch what your kids eat, it's yours!
The "reaction" to the AZ law is one of "I'm hispanic and these are my brothers"! These brothers are breaking the law, costing this country untold billions in education costs, medical costs, welfare costs and on and on. By what right does any advocate think it's ok to break the law and just come into the country? Try that in Mexico and see what their law says! The AZ law is no different that the existing Federal Law. Police can only have LAWFUL contact before asking for identification which all police have to do now in every state. If you drive you are suppose to carry a license, that's a law in the whole country. You are suppose to be able to identify yourself if police make lawful contact with you, that a law in every state. If your a legal immigrant and not yet a citizen you are suppose to carry your green card, that's the law everywhere. People have had it with illegals telling this country what our laws should be and it's time that we secured our borders and start finding out just who is entering this country. Maybe Congress and the President will get the message finally!
