This comes from personal experience about the company American Disposal. First of all yes they get numerous trucks from different sites from oil and gas sites for different reasons. And they inject the fluids into a well. But its been known many times that the fluids has spilled onto the ground at the site. Some spills are small spills other spills are large. Accidents do happen no matter where you work. They are suppose to only inject non - hazardous waste into the well, but its known the owner Mr JD Ivey will inject anything into the well as long as he is making money. Many times with out the public knowning the oil berms or oil tanks you see on the work site, they often spill over onto the ground and contaminate the ground and water often. To cover up the mess the company covers the spill with pee gravel for the mean time. The berms contain any where from oil, salt water up to anything that comes from a oil or gas place. Currently the place has a run off for when it rains the water flows down to the exit on highway 59 to highway 185. At any given time anyone on site can find slush of some type on the ground when off loading those trucks. As mentioned the berms are filled and spill onto the ground often more than the public knows about. Personaly this is a cricket company ran by a cricket owner JD Ivey. That only thinks about his self. The residents of Victoria and Victoria county realy needs to look into this matter cause things are done at this site that the public dosent even know half of the time. Everyone needs to come togther and back each other up on this matter befor its to late. Cause Mr Ivey dont care about what he does to your water, all he is looking at is the money he is making. And what the public dont know he thinks wont hurt. As long as he can cover it up. And he will pay anything to anyone to cover anything up he does at work. Thats just the type of guy Ivey is. Iam saying this from personal experience in knowing the company and Mr Ivey.

Well thumbs up for the local D.P.S again on another seizure amount of drugs off our streets. This goes hands in hands to Operation Moody not long ago. highways 87 and 59 always is known as dug highways and these guys are trained to spot different things on the road and fastly. These drug guys there dumb period how much they get by with or busted with. But once again thumbs up for D.P.S for another successful bust. Every little amounts helps to keep our streets clean, that shipment didnt make it Thank God. Might have saved another life.

I sometimes wonder. Why do others post a comment so stupid about the Victoria Advocate ? NO matter whats in the news. They always have something else to say about something other than about the topic or always something negative. makes you wonder sometimes what kind of life they have or live hmmm. From me Victoria advocate does a great job on stories as this once, thanks for the great jobs yall do.

I think it is great that a multi agency was involved. great job guys on the Moody operation if you ask me. We as citizens dont know when these types of operations are underway and thats good to so they try to catch the bad guys. I am sure operations are done by DPS and VCSO on major highways in some form as we as citizens dont know about. But they are just doing a job as anyone else is, and they do a dam good job if I might say. Most ask why Moody, well if you been around Victoria long enough you realy know why they target that area and areas. So from me thumbs up, VPD, VCSO, and DPS for another good operation in our city and county. Thanks for making our streets another step safer, no matter what the citizens say or complain each of you do a great job once again thanks.

And as for the suspect or victim which ever you claim to be. Well god Bless You. Maybe you will learn its not worth it after all. Hope you recover but learn as good lesson. But the officer was only doing his duty.

Well thumbs up for the security officer, for fast reactions. To me and my point of view. Alicia's needs to be shut down untill they can prove away of changing the way the club operates. From long ago this club has had a bad history of violence and crime. No matter if the shooting did happen at the house across the street, cause ill bet it had soemthing to do with this nasty club. Why yes it needs to be shut down. If its for awhile or for good something needs to be looked at by the city and county points of veiw. Only way to get to get it started at city hall or the precinct in which it falls under. Come on Victoria for yall thats seen Victoria in the good days and now look whats happening now, step forward let it be known I do all the time at something sick as this place. Yes they can hire a few off duty officers but they cant be every where at once where a bullet flys we all know that even tho it will cut it back some. And yes if they close the club they for split like fleas to another. But thats when the city and county come togther doing bar checks and do a crack down on the club owners, simple as that. period. WAKE UP VICTORIA, lets pull togther unless your one of the few who causes all this all the time. Look at other clubs, pubs and bars you dont hear much out of those as much as you do out of those like Alicia,s. Yes they needs shut down untill futher notice in my eyes.
