I am so glad these student's get to learn from such infamous leaders. Good luck to Coach Yates and Coach Alvarado for what I am sure will be a great year for them both.
Did you think about how on the West campus the contractors had 2 schools to build, and only 1 on the East side.
Like I said, there were set backs in construction that slowed the work production down. They can't help that.
And, there are a few things that are done at West that aren't done at East. Trust me, the construction workers are working their butts off! I've seen them in action. They are not working slowly, they have a deadline, and they have every intention to meet that.

I could go on.....
There were two different contractors hired for the campuses. They were each handed the same building plans, and unfortunetly there were some set backs at West that caused them to be behind. East is moving at a faster pace, but there were less problems encounterd, but at the same time, some minor construction problems were experienced and had to be revisited and redone at East.
Yes, the parking lot was painted for the East band to practice, and we are fortunate to be able to have the band practice there. The parking lot actually isn't big enough to stretch the entire length of an actual sized football field, but the band is managing okay.
At one point in time, both East and West Bands were meeting at the Stroman campus band hall. But, West is still in a great facility to have band camp.
These schools are going to be amazing, with all the technology, and high tech equipment, I think we are all going to be happy with the outcomes of both East and West HS. Bob Moore has been in these schools, touring them, approving plans, and monitoring progress. We should thank him for giving us these new campuses to learn and grow on, so good luck to both the East Titans and the West Warriors.
Such a beautiful ceremony for such a beautiful person inside and out. Kevin will be greatly missed, R.I.P.
I don't know how the burgers are now after the lost of a great, great person and chef, but when Kevin grilled the mustang burger...nobody could beat it. NOT WITH A STICK!!
My sincere condolences to Kevin and Daniel's Family.
I have seen Gerald play in action, and WOW! he is amazing. I would like to say thanks for sharing your talent with Victoria!
I think that you should establish yourself first with a good job, steady income, an enjoyable living environment and have a car.
Usually you are in your late 20's early 30's when you are at this point, this would be a good time to have a baby.
Accidents are called accidents for a reason, and we can play the blame game all day long, but i am sure for everyone involved in this incident, it will weigh heavely on their shoulders for a long time. We can't help but to feel this way, we are only humans with emotions.
I am sure VISD and all that were involved are working on this terrible heartbreaking situation with the family, but we shouldn't lash out at VISD, the teacher, the nurse or anyone else that was involved until more have been released.
We are too quick to have opinions, but in the end it was a sad situation that could have been prevented, and we all can think and say that about lots of situations in our life.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family most of all, and also to the classmates who lost a great friend, to the teacher who lost a wonderful student, and the faculty and administration that suffered the loss of one of their own.
