    What:

    My story is not about CRT.....it was another business in Victoria...

    I knew the dangers of workers so stayed with them when I had counters replaced. I was distracted to the outside and knew the moment I re-entered the house that something had happened. I looked around quickly but did not notice anything missing. After they left I discovered the cash in my wallet was missing.

    The owners of the company were not honest either. A trick they used is to give the client one set of measurements (in my case about 5 inches too much on all sides) then send the correct measurements to the company that manufactures the counters. I won't go into details but I discovered this due to carelessness of the "cover-up" and the company reimbursed me with no discussion of the actual dishonesty when I brought it up. In my case it was hundreds of dollars.....

    Agree that the dealership should be named. And the reporter should have already talked with him before the article was published so we could know that side.

    I also had a problem with a used car from a WELL KNOWN dealer. Some years ago the sales guy told me the history of the vehicle - parents bought it for their college age daughter and they loved it so much they traded it in for a new car for her when she graduated.

    Piece of junk. When you take it in for service be wary (don't be weary) if they don't want to give you a receipt. That way the repair history does not go into the system. That vehicle was nothing but problems. Lucky for me the car history was left in the glove compartment and I contacted the previous owners. HAH! They ranted. They had tons of problems after they bought it and the only thing the dealership would do was to allow them to trade it in for another car. They were hot! And I found out there were TONS more repairs and service work done than I was told about or given paperwork on. So they held that info from me. Big bad no-no.

    Sooooo. I went back and talked to Mr. Big. Funny attitude. He was more agitated at the sales guy for leaving the paperwork in the glove compartment. However....I did get my money back - all of it. And I had the vehicle for months. But they were very dishonest. And that sales guy - actually I think he was the sales manager at that time - was a real sleaze. Yankee type. Reminded me of Howie Mandel. Not that I don't like Howie Mandel - he just reminded me kinda of him - the way he talked. Anywho.....that is my story and I'm sticking to it. Be careful out there. Even in a small town the users are everywhere.

    Red Rage and anybody else: Do you really think that laws are not being changed because of the Bible? Do you think that politicians are being pressured by religious voters? Or, is it possible that there are bigger pressures being put upon our leaders? Do big companies think or talk about the Bible at Board Meetings? I bet not too many. They talk about profit.

    The very first comment that Kyle made was "Remove all federal tax and legal benefits from the religious institute of marriage and confer them upon civil unions."

    Maybe it is not so much the "religious" part but more so the economic part.

    wow. Just checking in. The conversation has certainly strayed. Ya'll are talking about religion now. Seems to me that any straying from the issue should lean toward economics/politics. Think about how gay marriage would impact certain industries. Can you think of any that would have a negative impact if gay marriage were legal? What do you think is REALLY holding this issue back?

    Great minds discuss ideas;
    Average minds discuss events;
    Small minds discuss people.

    Would like to see ideas discussed without the personal attacks.

    The Number 1 Ladies' Detective Agency books by Alexander McCall Smith are amazing. The HBO series with Jill Scott is just as wonderful. Dances With Wolves was good also. The book was just a touch better with a different ending. The Harry Potter books were way better than the movies but I still love the movies. The Eat Pray Love movie was crap.
