If not a quiet zone, then consider the volumn in which the horns are set. They are much louder than car horns, and emergency vehicles, which operate at greater speeds. It would also help if only the horn facing in the direction of movement is sounded.
For a location like this to be successful it needs to be utilized by many different events, which bring in many new people to the area. Unfortunately with the theater being a permanent tenant, the number of days available for rental is reduced greatly. Set building, rehearsals, events days, tear down and days in between can eat up a large portion of the calendar.. If the theater pays rent for the days it uses the facility, then the venue would be closer to holding it’s own, but I don’t think that is the case. I find it hard to believe that the theater will be thrilled to give up the almost exclusive rein of the facility, in lieu of the new owner’s planned events.
Dear Council,
Please take your own tour of the city park restrooms and just imagine the shape the new ones will be in a year or so. The city crews have more now than they can keep up with. Why not shut down some neighborhood parks. Parents don't want their kids hanging at the neighborhood parks for safety reasons. Start concentrating on the most used facilities.

Maybe somone hasn't been told that they're being replaced.
Sad thing, hope they catch them. Once again the design of the trail, sandwiched between deep creek beds, brush and privacy fences, with limited straight aways, lends it self to hiding people up to no good.
Having multiple groups using the concession stand is like telling your kids that it needs to be cleaned up. Noone will be responsible.
Appears alot of people want to say, "no harm, no foul" in regard to this matter. Just think how you would feel if it happened to you or a close friend or relative.
Fortunately for Mr. Rodriguez, he was able to make bond and hire a good attorney. If he hadn't he'd still be in the Dewit County jail with a court appointed attorney awaiting trial. Hopefully it would have the same ending, but lord knows.
I noticed that the Chief Deputy took the heat, but nothing has been said as to the identity of the undercover officer, who would have made the identification. Was he/she an officer or informant?
Running the case by the DA might be a better avenue in the future instead of taking the shortcut of swearing out a compliant to a Justice of the Peace. It's not like it was an emergency and after all if the prosecutor does not believe the case to be prosecutable it won't go anywhere.
Seems as though this case is similar to the Buckner case in Victoria a couple years ago. It does happen.
They can't quit now, there is still money to be spent!
Its pretty simple, if you rent you need to make your payments. If your renter does not make their payments, there are procedures in place through the court to resolve the issue.
It is petty when the airport commission and it's director feel a need to play this out in the media . People across the US are having hard times, many in the same boat.
I'm sure somewhere out there the credit reports of our elected officals, appointed board members and employees probably would show a non pay, slow pay, delinquent etc..
Try to run your business without using the media to garner support or justify your actions.
