You're exactly correct. I know my Lord loves me and wants the best for me; however, I still feel I am not worthy of his blessings. I do pray to my Father all the time. I talk to him. I cry to him. I smile to him. I believe the saints strengthen my petitions. We are all in this together. No man is an island. We are to love each other and care for each other just like HE wants us to. The saints are already there, with HIM. They help me just like when I would ask an earthly friend for help. This is the vision, I believe, that our Father has: love one another and help each other get to the Promise Land.
I guess I do not know how to make tea at all. I use the microwave! I used to put milk in my tea, but now I only add honey and lemon. Here lately, though, I have really become hooked on warm apple cider, since I do not drink coffee anymore. I think its more psychological.
CG23Sailor, If only I could be more like you...I had the same thing happen to me, too. What was so sad was the shopping dock was just a few feet away! BTW, THANK YOU for serving so that I can enjoy this open forum to vent on anti-social behavior! ;)
We really don't have any spring traditions, but I have been wanting to start a garden like we had when I was a kid. You never know when those trucks will stop moving and bringing us fresh produce or risking all the possible contaminations that "fresh" vegetables may contain. Scary! I enjoy bird watching. Animals are just neat, anyway, but birds come in such neat colors. This is also the time to start fishing before it gets too hot. We don't own a boat, but we fish off the coast down in PL or Port O'Connor. Sometimes we go river boat fishing, but that doesn't happen too often.
I thought about catching a movie myself. I was thinking about the one with Martin Lawrence. It appears that it will be funny. What do you plan to watch? Have a wonderful time at the carnival. Don't let them rip you off, though! ;)
I have to admit, I haven't tried grits nor plan to either. I went to Berclair one year for a mother's day outing at the mansion. They served grits with salsa for one of their side dishes to the entree. I didn't even try... Momma makes dewberry jam. That's some gooood eatin'. Especially on some homemade biscuits with homemade sausage patties. I think she invented peanut butter pancakes too, which are actually toast with peanut butter smothered with Karo syrup. The grandchildren beg for it. They even skip supper for it!
I'll have to agree. I did not appreciate this show either until a few months ago. It is hilarious on occasion and gives food for thought. More and more of TV shows these days are reality shows. I have enough reality everyday. I need something I can relate to, something that talks to me. Thanks for the song...I can relate to it, too! ;)
