i am a employee in a restaurant and it is as bad or worse than the story is saying sales are way down and people seem to only come out and eat on occasions or have one big night a week victoria seems to have the herd mentality when it comes to dining out they all go to one place if the parking lot is packed all being said i hope it picks up really soon as we restaurant employees need the money too there are some good restaurants in and out of the victoria city limits and we all need to business but we know people have to eat but not dine out
sounds like we need another fatal funnel year long story
haha look at the graph of the results and see whats going to happen to the democrat socialist this tuesday
no more mister nice guy
yorktown is a ghost town thanks to the city council
i have a bad feeling that we are going to see more businesses like this close down, if this economic climate does not pick up. I can see the slow down at all the places my family frequents.
i agree, it really makes me mad to go to a grocery store and see a person talking on a cell phone buying gobs of groceries and swiping a lonestar card, oh by the way you should see the look on their faces when their card runs out and they have to pay with cash! that is priceless
This is what Victoria needs to do to bring people into the area, but there is NO place for something like this to happen. Just the tourism dollars would be great for the local shops, restaurants, and hotels. Too bad the new schools did not build a new stadium that could handle such events.
i won a math debate
i'm ready!
