I can just imagine how that father felt. My son goes to Cade middle school and let me tell you of the mess we have been having with the after school bus drop off. My son got home on the first day at 415 pm and the next day the same. I went to work on the third day and at 445 decided to call home and find out how school went. My daughter who is a Sr. informed me that my son was not home yet, but the kid up the street was and said that J had to wait for another bus, because there were too many kids on the first bus. No notification of this was made, even though I filled out umpteen papers at registration with every contact number we have. All sorts of things start going through your mind no matter how hard you try to reason with yourself. My daughter called back at 515 to let me know that J was home. The next week both boys got on the wrong bus because the routes were apparently changed without their knowing and they got off 6 blocks from home after realizing that the bus was not going to the prior drop off spot. The next time my son was let off at yet another spot the neighbor boy's father was driving down the street, saw my son and asked where his son was and my son said that he had to wait on another bus. This to me is ridiculious the school is just asking for something to happen.
WHAT A TRULY WONDERFUL PLACE THIS PLANET OF OURS WOULD BE IF EVERYONE WOULD REALIZE THAT WE ARE ALL INDEED THE SAME. WE ALL FEEL,BLEED AND NEED.
you know, the topic of this sewer plant is really getting old. the decisions have been made and its time to let it go. like mr. soliz said they fought the good fight, but its time to let it go and get on with other city business. there are always decisions made in life that not everyone agrees with, but they are made and life does go on. denise was not the only member to vote for this site so leave her alone, shut it up, and move on. she is the representative for my district, and i for one WILL NOT be signing any petition.
I am sooooo SICK of the no class people who have nothing better to do than go around tearing up other peoples' property. they're probably the same punks who complain that our city doesn't have anything to offer to visitors or to make our citizens feel proud of the city that we live in. But, how can we offer these things, when almost everytime something new is either built or brought in to our city, somebody thinks its their responsibility to mess it up. WAKE UP PEOPLE THIS CITY REPRESENTS ALL OF US SO HAVE SOME PRIDE IN IT AND STOP THIS NONSENSE!
I think that when they catch these vandals, they should give them flashlights and set them out as lighted displays during the holidays so we can all see them and they can get all the attention that they seem to crave.
Just to let yall know Dr. Chang does his surgeries at both Citizens and DeTar.
you know it just makes me sick when somrthing new tries to come to our town and some creep or creeps have to mess it up.
