After reading this article, I was very upset. As a taxpayer in Victoria County and as Citizens Medical Center is funded by our taxes, now I discover that my physician is being forced from the staff there. My taxes are used by Citizens Medical Center, but I will not be able to to use this hospital. As a person who has worked in the medical field for 45 years, I feel that I am qualified to decide which physician has the best credentials and who provides the best quality of care. This decision is not for David Brown to make. May be it is time for the citizens of this county to demand an open review of the hospital's books to see administrators salaries, hospital physician salaries, cost of advertisement, etc, that pertain to quality of care.
