I did not say why a Court would not wish to maintain it as a county road before. When the road has very little public traffic and it seems the road is used mainly by one family, the commissioner will wish to declare it not a county road so as not to be keeping up what is almost a private road.
Many times an easement is verbally given, then ownership changes and it is not granted. Also what was a road many times is taken up in Commissioner's Court and they declare it not a road. And thus even if it is said to be a road on file, if the Court has declared it not to be one, it is NOT.
I am from Goliad and I do not agree with the commissioners court as I don't believe the Navy owes Goliad Co. anything. When monies were first offered I wanted the county to take the money and run. I am for the military using this runway for training purposes.
Now I can quit wondering what is in the pretty red trailer parked as I drive on Navarro. I too can taste, red beans, rice and cornbread. The bakery (can't spell it) does serve some good red beans and cornbread.
It is not necessary to say that the "elderly" man did such and such as the age had been listed before. I am not 75 yet but that is not elderly. You don't need to use adjectives to describe someone in an article.
