well, its about time the visd did something about their ridiculous policies on bullying. but credit should not go to the visd. they have sat on their butts for years now while students were getting bullied telling those students and their parents the same cowardly response every time, "our hands are tied". I remember that little girl PennyLane Smith that was in the advocate years back. She and her mother had to take their concerns of PennyLane being bullied at school to the media before the school or any one from the superintendent office paid any attention to that little girl being bullied. SO THANK YOU MS. PENNYLANE SMITH. FOR GETTING THE BALL ROLLING FOR CHANGE ON BULLYING IN OUR SCHOOLS. WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!

Do you honestly think that these business owners and employees intentionally broke the law just to sale these products? cmon now! They were allowed for many years to sale these products. The sheriff knew it the police department knew it and the DA knew all about it all this time and now all of a sudden they have to conduct raids cause a big scene like they were really catching harden criminals. And now they are charging them with a felony that carries a sentence of ten years. What an embarrassment. We have assistant DA's and felony district judges that committ fraud and allow witnesses to commit perjury in their courtroom and what do they get? Pay raises and pats on the back. THE GOOD OLD BOYS OF VICTORIA....

they already knew this man had mental health problems. its in the report from the shooting at the college that the man suffered mental health problems. i pray that this new sheriff brings criminal charges on all the gaurds in the victoria county. not just the ones assigned to this man but every last one of them male and female. they all new of his health problems and at any time anyone of them could have looked at the log or should have noticed the log that should of had no entry recorded checking in on that inmate. everyone in that jail is guilty of the this mans death as the their buddy working right along side of them . now lets see how the sheriff handles this then we will know how things will be done in victoria as long as he is in command.

vet43 you make a really good point. the Victoria county jail has already been in violation of not doing visual checks of the segregated inmates or the female inmates in the holding tank. if this new sheriff wants to make a good change he should start with the employees on his payroll. the male guards at the Victoria county jail are very lazy and useless. you have a little better of a chance of getting half a** descent help from the female officers that work at the county jail. my thoughts and prayers go out to this mans family.
