I go to UT Austin and the buses that have routes on and around campus are free for students and faculty. With a UT id, students can even rid the CapMetro buses (the buses for the entire city of Austin) for free. Then again, Austin is bigger than Victoria.
I am outraged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christmas Shoes by Newsong is one of the most amazing songs ever written. If that song doesn't touch your heart, then you don't have one. And as a matter of fact, my mom and I sing "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas" to each other all the time. It's an incredibly cute song. I don't see how anyone could not like that song.
That's funny because I went to go see a movie the other day, and six unruly teenagers ended up behind me. After asking them to be quiet, I called the manager, who proceeded to escort them out. The funny thing about that is...I'm only 19!! LOL
I graduated from BHS in 09 and maybe it's not like this anymore, but when I was there, drugs were all over the place in school. You all make it sound as if all these drug deals are just going down in the community, while the students are all trying to stay away from it. Yeah right. The students were all in on it too, and yes they were students who were in the band, played sports, and for the most part had great school spirit. Open your eyes people and stop thinking the kids are so innocent. I hated going to school there and I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
LOL I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.
Why don't they just put a pedestrian light? Like the kind where when the light isn't on you drive normal, when it starts flashing yellow you know to slow down, and when it turns red you stop. It's not timed like normal traffic lights because it is only activated if a pedestrian is there to push the button. Then in the morning and afternoon when there is usually a large group of students they can mostly cross all at one time, and during other hours of the day when there isn't as much foot traffic, regular traffic won't have to worry about the light because most of the time it won't be active. Austin has them, and I find it much easier to deal with as both a driver and pedestrian.
I am really sad to see this. Coach Van is a great coach who cares about his athletes' and students' futures and life goals more than winning. He truly cares about them succeeding in life, which is rare in Bloomington. I just graduated this past year, and he was the only coach that was there all four years, while so many others came and went. Besides, he is an excellent cross country coach. The girls and guys teams have won about four district titles, maybe more, while he has been there.
I am SOOOOO jealous. I wish I was at home. I'm from Bloomington, but now I go to UT in Austin; and it is supposed to snow here too, but it hasn't started yet. :( I just want to see the snow again. Why do I always miss the good stuff?
LMFAO!!!!!! That article is a downright riot!!!! LOL!! I couldn't stop laughing. My friend says discombobulated all the time, and it was so funny to see someone else use it. So, keep em coming Aprill!
Btw, I have all your lame yet hilarious chupacabra videos favorited on Youtube. Lol!
How did this not show up on the background check? but then again it would be typical of Bloomington not to run a sufficient background check.
